This is my second time purchasing this brass dog tag. They’re not indestructible – I think I lost my old one by putting it on too tight a ring and stressing the thinner bit of metal at the top of the hole – but the engraving on the back and front stay super legible and they’ll put up with a LOT of abuse (just don’t be like me and force them into an almost-to-tight loop with another item in it to clank around all day). They’re beautifully made and very cool. When the old tag first disappeared with the ring on my boy’s collar still intact, I thought perhaps a kid might have taken it while he was in the yard since it’s so neat. I’m still hoping to find the old one to repurpose somehow, but in the meantime I’m happy to restore his collar to its former glory with this beautiful new tag. I would and did buy it again!
